The tempest is the reality of life,
It would anyways strike as it’s so rife.
The bridge was old, it needed replacement,
Enough it had bore, the weight of its predicament.

The relief are the soft glowing lamps
Burning constantly in hope, the light never damps.
They are resilient in the face of the storm,
Can we also stand like them ready in a row?

We all sail in the same wrecked boat,
Try everything to escape pumping in the sweat.
The angry sea does pardon and give life a chance,
To rebuild boats and search destinations hence.

However, the rigour is worthy and sane,
The lights burn still not in vain.
Wet yourself in varied experiences,
Dare and dive deep beyond your fences.
